The UD Miner has made its debut at Electra Mining Africa 2024, bringing an innovative solution to the mining, quarrying, and construction sectors. Designed by Laubstar Fleet Services in partnership with UD Trucks Southern Africa, this extra heavy-duty tipper truck is engineered for maximum productivity in challenging environments, where traditional haulers often face limitations.

Based on the UD Trucks Quester CGE440 (E57C) model, the UD Miner features an 8x4 axle configuration and a bespoke MegaTon II mining tipper body, developed for maximum payload efficiency and rugged durability. With off-road and on-road payloads of 29 and 23 tonnes respectively, it offers a strong alternative to conventional yellow metal equipment, promising reduced operational costs and fuel savings.
